A duvet which is also pronounced “due-vay”, is a French word for “down”. In essence it is the same thing as a down comforter. Most of us have seen, used and or own a comforter. This term is just a fancy French way to say comforter. Usually they are plain comforters that need a wrapping made of material that is very easy to wash and come in many different designs and styles. The idea is that you wash it often but the comforter much less often. This makes keeping your comforter clean a much easier task and when you do wash them it is much lighter to wash and dry.

Now if you are one of the numerous people who have a comforter and you are tired of washing it over and over and would rather have a wrapping for it which would be much less bulkier to wash, then you should think about purchasing one of these handy sets.
